Hi, I have a S4 that was in the middle of some type of update while connected to my pc, all of a sudden it shut off and now it wont turn on, led light wont turn on and ive tried numerous chargers and outlets... its not the battery or the usb. it has a full battery when it turned off.. it wont go into recovery mode either.. it does nothing! I am very disappointed because I haven't even had it a year and it did this. The guy at Verizon told me they wouldn't replace it because it had a scuff mark on the lower left corner! now I have to pay full retail for a new phone which is ridiculous! I was also told that if i send it in and the warranty wont cover it because of physical damage that my account will automatically get charged retail for a new phone without being able to stop it. so theres no sending it in and seeing what they can do. Verizon handles this so poorly. My question is that if there is anything I can do to fix it or figure out a way for Verizon not to screw me on this?
