Can I use an unlocked GSM note 3 on verizon?

My brother bought me one and wanted to be sure before I opened it. I have a note 2 with a Verizon 4g sim card.

If the Note 3 isn't Verizon Wireless branded, you can't activate it on the Verizon Wireless network.
