this is on a Nokia lumina icon, how can I reset lock screen password or retrieve it? thank you, I just had a sims go bad an had to replace it.
You'll have to do a hard reset (Nokia Lumia Icon hard reset) which will reset the phone back to factory defaults which in turn deletes all data on the phone.
to add to primortal, it will delete all data, but windows has made a nice way to get all of your apps. go to: My Windows Phone (United States) and log in and click on apps + games. from there you should be able to view your purchase history and download your games again without losing game info or having to purchase apps you've already paid for. pretty slick.:smileyhappy: hope this helps!
