My Galaxy s4 is currently at a stage where the only response I can get from it is a brief display (probably about 3 seconds) from the "Samsung Galaxy s4" screen before it turns off and refuses to turn back on again unless I remove and replace the battery. (Removing and replacing the battery does nothing more than allow me to see the opening display for another 3 seconds before the process repeats.)
-I've tried removing the battery and SD card, then replacing them and rebooting -- no change.
-I've tried plugging the phone into the wall using a different charger, and I've tried plugging it into my computer via a USB cable -- no change.
-I've tried performing a hard reset (volume up + home + power), and I get the blue message in the upper left corner...but only for the time the "Samsung Galaxy s4" screen remains on. After its 3 seconds of time are up, everything turns off again.
-I don't have an extra battery around, so I haven't been able to try inserting one.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I see that a few other people posting on here have gone through similar problems, but none of their complaints were resolved in a way I'm able to follow through the forums. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
