how to access voice mail without password each time

I just switched from an I phone to this galaxy mini. I hate having to access voice mail separately from the phone but it is what it is. FAQ section said I could make it so I don;t have to enter the password every time i want to check a darn message but does not tell you how to do so. Can anybody help

A suggestion is to add Voice Mail to your contacts with the phone number *86,,#### where the pound signs represent your voice mail password.  Then set that contact as a direct dial widget on your home screen.  Not only will it direct-dial your voice mail, but you won't have to enter the password every time.
