I am not recieving all my text, am I missing some settings?

I am only recieving random texts from my contacts. I am not recieving them from friends that have iphones. How can I get this corrected?

Did you switch from an iPhone? If so, you are not receiving texts from your iPhone friends because their iPhones are still trying to contact you using iMessage, something which is not available to non-iPhones.

Try texting "stop" to 48369. You should receive a return message stating you are unsubscribed from iMessage.

PRT07, no worries! There's a quick fix for this. You will need to disable iMessaging in your previous iPhone device in Settings>Messaging>tap disable iMessage. Keep us posted.

That only works if it is done before you switch your phone from the iPhone to the new Android. If you have switched before you did this, people sending you texts from their iPhone and they had previously sent you texts to your old iPhone have to disable their iMessage.
