stuck on the red eye

Is anyone else have the same problem. I unplugged my phone from charging and it would not come on. Took the battery out and put it back in. Turned it on and it was stuck  on the red eye for about 30-45 mins. So I took the battery out again.any suggestions on a fix? or is my phone gone to phone heaven?

Let's bring that phone back to life. Sound like we might have to complete a factory reset on the device. I know that the device won't power up to the main screen. But have no fears, we have an alternate way of doing the reset.
