Sim Card Issues.

Hello,

I just recently purchased a used Droid Maxx. The phone appears to be in excellent working shape. Except I cannot get the Sim card to register. The phone keeps saying it is unknown. When i attempt to activate on Verizon's website i am told that the Sim card is not compatible with the phone. Attempted using 4 different Sim cards at a local wireless zone. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the phone branded with Verizon?  Your statement that you get the error "the SIM (a Verizon SIM) is not compatible with the phone" indicates that it's not a Verizon branded phone.  If you put the ESN or MEID # of the phone into this site, it will check to see if the phone is compatible with Verizon's network:
