I literally HATE getting any upgrade for any phone from Verizon. Can you PLEASE let me opt out of any further upgrades ever? They lock up my phone, they mess up my phone.. im just tired of it...
Perhaps you should only purchase last year's or two year old model phones. The manufacturers are supposed to support these smartphones for 18 months minimum from the release date for future OS updates.
As far as I know, the best way to never see an OS update it to not have the latest and greatest device.
Blame the maker of the device and Google.
Verizon only provides the connection to the cellular and data network.
Verizon makes no devices. Never had and never will.
Your gripe is with Samsung and Google Inc.
When the maker of the device send the updates to the cellular providers the customers then get it. All Providers.
