The phone dropped a call a couple days ago and since then has not been able to make or receive calls. Outbound calls indicate "dialing" but never get as far as a ringtone. Inbound calls ring on the caller side and go to voicemail.
* It's not the SIM card. I've put the card in another phone, and it worked. I've put a known good card in my phone, and it doesn't work.
* I've tightened the screws on the back. GPS works better now (periodically, at least) but no joy on the phone
* Took the battery and sim card out, left out for >10 minutes, replaced. Nada.
* I've performed a factory reset
* I stumped the Verizon tech in person
* I have consistently 3-4 bars reception.
* I tried turning airplane mode on then off. Once this worked and I made an outgoing call. Hasn't worked again. This suggests to me I have a software more than a hardware problem.
Help please!
