Weird scenario

Samsung Galaxy S5. Shows full bars. As soon as you dial a number the bars will drop to about 0-2. Then sometimes the call will disconnect in the middle of conversation. Does this outside and inside. This is a first. I am wondering if any problems in area. I had chatted with a Mark on Monday morning and he was to send it to tech support, nothing back yet. Ideas anyone?

Let's look into this together! What zip are you in? Have you tried powering down and removing and reinserting the Sim card? Any other Verizon Wireless customers experiencing the same issue?

Yes, powered down, remove sim, reinsert and started same thing. The other customers I know have basic phones and theirs work with no problem. Zip is 17881.

As stated, full bars, dial a phone number drops to 0-2. Galaxy S5.

Guess this is the first problem I have had with Verizon Wireless. Figures, you praise them for their service then they ignore any problems. After S5 paid off, soon, will go to a different provider now. SMH VW needs BETTER tech support for their service.

psf57, thanks for providing some additional details. The area provided would most certainly have some coverage opportunities. Would the issue be specific to this one area or happen everywhere that you go? How long has this been going on?

It happens in the area and I would say a 20 mile radius of the area 17881. Indoors/outdoors. This has just started roughly 2 weeks ago. According to your map, this area is 4G LTE with no problems. But it is the calling part that is giving the problem.
