When will the fix be out? If not will Verizon be refunding my monthly service charges for a known issue?

Here is the thing.... Samsung is rather odd about updates. They have to include their TouchWiz software on every single update so it takes a little bit longer for them to get updates submitted to Verizon. Unfortunately, I do not believe there will be an update soon. I believe that the next update would be Android L but then it has to have TouchWiz so it is just difficult to really judge when they will release one.
I hope this helps. I do not have this problem on my Note 3 though.
