My phone upgraded to the NG6 software and since then my battery life has dropped to less then 5 hours on a full charge. Something seems to be pegging my processor and draining the battery. When I look at the battery screen it shows the Android OS using 60-80% of the battery which never used to be the case. In one test, I charged the phone and put it in airplane mode and didn't touch the phone for 4 hours. In the 4 hours, the phone battery dropped from 100% to 36% and Android OS was 61% of the battery usage. In the past, I could run for days in airplane mode with no issues. The only way to fix this is to reboot the phone but as soon as I use the phone again the battery starts draining quickly again. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix?
