Any solutions for bluetooth echo on Samsung Galaxy 5?

I am a new Samsung Galaxy 5 owner. I use a Motorola Bluetooth headset to talk hands free (driving, etc.). The person on the other end gets an echo and has difficulty with the call (many quit). Apparently this is not an uncommon problem, but I have not been able to find a solution. Anybody know what to do to solve this issue?

Let's look further into this and get this resolved! Have you had a chance to test another headset in effort to find the root cause? If so, do you experience the same results. Does this happen if you are not using a headset? Does this only happen in a specific area (zip code, indoors only)? Please share more details and any trends so I may further assist. Thank you.

Thank you for the response. The headset worked fine (caller did not hear echo) when paired to my old IPhone. There also is no echo when it is paired to my wife’s Nokia (windows phone). I do not have another Bluetooth headset that I can check on my Samsung Galaxy S5. I don’t really want to pay $100 plus for another Bluetooth headset to conduct the test you suggest. I have not perceived any geographical correlation with the issue.

Thanks for the information dirtpusher. We want to help get this issue fixed. How long have you had your bluetooth device? Is it still under warranty? You can also stop by a corporate store for a hands on evaluation.
