Hm, no. I just used it for some troubleshooting help. I sent texts from the website to an email address and a normal cell #. Both got through fine. Maybe try closing your browser and restarting it and logging back in.
yes. i can send a txt to my mom's phone (verizon network) but i cannot send a txt to my bf (verizon network). every time i try it says "Delivery to this destination failed due to invalid address" i added both my mom and bf into the contacts using their cell numbers. i could call the bf right now if i wanted but it won't let me send a txt to him using vtext/my verizon...whatever you want to call it.
any feedback on what the problem may be is appreciated.
Are you using the full ten digit number (including area code)?

I was really hoping to be able to use this website as a way to have some kind of contact with friends and family while at work. My building blocks every phone network except for at&t.
I have tried to use this website to send a txt to other friends as well and it gives the exact same error. Apparently the only person I can send a txt message to using this website is my mother.
I'm not sure why it isn't working - the biggest obstacle to me when I tested it just now was getting the captcha right, determining an upper case or lower case o or s - I had to try 4 times to get it right, and it shouldn't be that hard.
The error you are getting about an invalid address says to me that something in the phone number (or are you using nicknames?) isn't translating. Are you using JUST the 10 digits, or adding dashes, parentheses, etc?
I am having the same problem. If anyone tries to text to my number@vtext.com, they get an invalid address message. All of the other lines connected to this account work just fine (all family members). I was on the phone with tech support for 2 hours today and they said it would take up to 10 days to find the problem. While we were on the phone, the tech sent a txt msg to herself@vtext.com and got an invalid address. We have different phones and different plans. This is so frustrating....

This happens to me as well. I can only text via online to my number. all others give me this error message.
How do I send text and receive messages via online? I have NO cell in house. I need to be text ready for work
