I dropped my s5 today, it didnt fall far and didnt land too hard. now everytime i receive a text message it vibrates, as it usually does, then non stop vibrates for a good 30 seconds to a minute after..even after reading the text! Help!
similar thing just happened to me this afternoon. I first received several blank messages without subject; some came from my contacts, others were random. And my phone starts to vibrate excessively (for about 5-10 seconds) everytime I received a text.
Few people over at android central complaining about this also. Not experiencing this myself so have no clue what it could be. Mary
I am having the exact same issue. It just started this morning, my phone has not been dropped or anything. I noticed that it was filling my text mssgs with no subject texts to random contacts and random numbers that i didnt even know.
It just occurred to me what messaging app are people using with all the problems? I am using the stock Samsung one that came on my phone as I didn't care for Verizon messaging so maybe that is why I don't have any problems? Mary
It happened on my stock app, so i tried Go sms and it still does it just changed the vibration pattern.
I am also having these issues. Randomly started this morning. I am currently chatting with Samsung. Hopefully they will have answers.
I've had the same issue. Called samsung and they walked me through starting up in safe mode thinking it was an app. Didn't work. Went to a Verizon store and spent 3 hours there. Still hasn't fixed anything.
My phone just started this tonight as well. Using Samsung txt app, after recieving a txt my phone with randomly vibrate for quite awhile for no reason. It has also created new txt messages to random numbers...
I found that the verizon mssg app was the cause of it. If you go into Message+ and uninstall all the updates, clears cache, and turn it off it will stop the continuous vibrating.
