I just purchased this phone last week and I cant find that information anywere.
No the Droid X is not capable of surfing and talking on the device at the same time.
HTH,
Such is the problem of Verizon
Data and voice is on the same channel so its one or the other.
Actually you can do it but ONLY if you are using wifi
Nope, and it's pretty pathetic.
I've never really seen the need to talk and use the net at the same time. And it's not limited to VZW alone.
well i've seen the need to talk and use the web...so i was just wondering...thanks!

I have at times. I am on a different network and finely had the ability to talk & surf the web at the same time on 3G. Sometimes when I have been on the phone I'll need to look something up on the internet. It's nice not having to hang up on the person.
It's a limitation of the cdma networks that Verizon and Sprint use. They could upgrade their EVDO networks to support simultaneous voice and data but they're more focused on getting 4G running where it'll all be a moot point. And as stated earlier, you can technically do both if you are connected to wifi.
