Its interesting that the DLNA server will not play using any of these types of servers (when or if it detects them). One of the main reasons I purchased this device was because I thought it would connect like an Archos Internet tablet or similar.
[Correction] After doing a full reset (to try and fix the "My Verizon" not updating) its detecting and able to browse some of the servers, it just wont play anything. I wonder if flash is the issue.
After trying the different options for ORB
Orb Flash Player
Windows Media Format (.asx) *
3GP Format (.sdp)
Winamp Format (.pls)
I get the "The media file cannot be played" [/Correction]
It doesn't browse directories well and plays no video (no matter the codec). I hope future updates will resolve this. It would be nice to use this device like a multimedia device similar to iPhone with airvideo or orblive.
I've tried these DLNA or UPnP server packages
Wild Media Server (UPnP, DLNA, HTTP)
TVMOBiLi
PlayOn
Mezzmo
Serviio
iSedora Media Server
Orb
TwonkyMedia Server
