Will i be assessed with Physical damage fee?

the charger port on My s4 broke so I set up a warranty claim. but there is a very minor scuff/dent on the corner of my phone. before I send my phone in, do you think i will be assessed with a physical damage fee?

What claim? Through Verizon acting as agent for the manufacturer?

If the first damage is not covered in any circumstances.

If you send it through Verizon for a bad charging port, it will get rejected and the other damage will be looked at as not acceptable for warranty. You will get another device but your account will be charged $400 or more.

Now if you use supplement insurance from Asurion there is a big deductible that must be paid first. Depending on device can be $200

Be careful in what you do.
