I cannot open contact info sent thru text msg (MMS) via an Iphone. Is this to be expected?
That's odd Jobu642. You typed this is on the iPhone and the forum says it's abou the Galaxy S5, can you please clarify?I tried it on the iPhone just now and I see that's not a problem. I have a Galaxy S5. I asked a friend to forward a contact to me from his I phone.
I was not able to open the text msg with the contact info. Just curious if this is the norm or should I be able to receive contact info from any phone?

Can't they just type the info in by hand in the message and send it? I have never sent or received contact info that way myself in a text mssage so have no clue as I always just type it in by hand and send. Mary
Ok I see, didn't know we could do that. I sent contact info to myself and it worked but I am using the stock Samsung messaging app that came on the phone not the Verizon one. Maybe it depends on what phone and what app he is using for text. Mary
