Why is Verizon always the last to inform and/or release new handsets? Shouldnt the "biggest" carrier have them first??

Wow, that did absolutely nothing to answer my question. T-Mobile will have it available on Nov. 14th. Supposedly all carriers will but not a single word from Verizon. Still doesnt answer why Verizon is ALWAYS last even after a small carrier like T-Mobile.
Correction: AT&T will have it on November 14th according to their website and T-mobile has "coming soon" and, alas, nothing from Verizon
