Does anyone have an inside scoop of when verizon is going to release the 4.4.4 update that other carriers started pushing a couple weeks ago. Not looking foe an exact date, Just an idea if it's going to be weeks or months.
Samsung isn't going to release proprietary information to the general public. When all the testing is completed by the FCC, Samsung, Hardware manufacturers and the carrier the device is used, then and only then is the update ready to be announced and pushed to the devices.
Other carriers? Only Sprint has updated it to 4.4.4
So your answer is you don't know?
if Samsung doesn't know one else does either.
If Samsung doesn't what?
if you dont know the answer, Mr. Helper, why cop an attitude, and give false information, when they were asking a simple question. if you dont have the answer, then there is no need for your response. you help nobody, unless you work for verizon, i would say you should not answer the questions. leave it to the employees who actually know what they are speaking of.
I DID NOT cop an attitude the OP did. I merely correct his statement that other carrierS, with an S, was false. Since there is only ONE that has it. Then HE got all uppity. Please go back and re-read the thread and you'll see I did nothing wrong.

Yea I see you got 2 likes. Sorry guys I did nothing wrong so whatever. PROVE it. Sorry for ANSWERING questions I didn't see to 2 people giving likes making an effort t help. Hmmm. No good deed goes unpunished as the saying goes.
Thank you brittbratt13. My thoughts exactly. And no, I didn't have an attitude mrhelper. I was simply redirecting the conversation back to the original question instead of this rabbit hole of splitting hairs on the quantity of other carriers. The point is you don't know. That is all I needed to know.
As for your "original point", it would have been much better said that Samsung is told before anyone else so they would be the person to ask instead of "if Samsung doesn't know one else does either". I've never heard of that before and actually I'm quite curious what Samsung is going to say when I get over there. I'm not an expert by any means but my money is going to be on their answer being "Why are you asking us? We've already released 4.4.4 weeks ago. If you want to know when Verizon is releasing it, then go ask them".
You did finally answer my second question which is you don't know so thanks for that.
Yeah you actually did! did you not read the last comment I stated to you on another form? your the rudest person ive seen on her who claims to just be ANSWERING questions.
Typo *here*
juliebugg was responding to MrHelper, just so we know here.
You guys can keep talking about process all you want. THE UPDATE HAS BEEN RELEASED. If you don't know when Verizon is going to finish "testing" the code, then you don't have to answer.
Just because its on other devices doesn't mean it's finished. Samsung isn't transparent. There are different teams for different model numbers. They all don't use the same code especially the RIL and HAL.
Look at HTC for manufacturer transparency. They show you exactly at what process they are on and certification process takes the longest(FCC, WIFI, Bluetooth, and Qualcomm for CDMA radios) and carrier testing actually takes the shortest on average. Since Samsung isn't transparent they can hide behind blanket statements something which HTC, and Motorola no longer do because of their update transparency. You can tell when they are lying.
Oh and just by putting an app into the system folder automatically makes it uninstallable. You need root access to do anything in that folder.
Yeah, but trying to avoid rooting and such.
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread.
No problem man. I think someone has an idea so I'll just be patient. I may or may not hear from them but oh well.
