How do I transfer a song from my computer to my device?

I have connected via USB to my computer where the song has been downloaded.  How do I copy it & get it on my phone?

Use this link to see how to copy the .mp3 from the computer to the phone.  To use the .mp3 for music playback, place a copy in the Music folder of the device.  To use the .mp3 as a Ringtone, place a copy in the device's Ringtone folder.  Likewise, put a copy of the .mp3 in the device's Notification folder to use the .mp3 as a Notification sound.
