How do I hook my LG Cosmos 3 up to wi-fi?

Just received the LG Cosmos 3, and can't figure out how to hook it up to my home wifi. It can't find a signal here at the house, and it spends it battery just searching. Does anyone know how to switch it?

I apologize for the confusion!  The Cosmos 3 is a basic device and is not wi-fi capable.
