To the delight of Verizon I was forced to upgrade my phone and with that I had to change my plan (which meant bye to my unlimited data plan). I fought with them for about 2 weeks before they gave me 6 GBs for the same price I was paying for unlimited. I didn't mind because I rarely used more then 3 GBs a month anyway. I upgraded in June and everything was going decent until about 2 months ago. This is my three bill not and suddenly every month my data usage has gone up a gig at least. I almost went over my limit last month, but the thing that gets me is the fact I am not using anything more then I used to. So I am using my phone the same as I was before, but now suddenly I am using more data. How is that even possible? I only use the internet and instagram from time to time and the games I play don't require data to play. So how does that make 6 gigs in a month?! I asked verizon but yet they couldn't tell me nor did they seem to understand what was happening. Is there a way to truly see what is zapping my data and how to manage it? I am not talking about this built in data gauge that comes with my galaxy s4.
