Samsung S4 just got it yesterday

I got a Samsung S4 for my wife just came yesterday she wanted to switch from Iphone,it was her Christmas gift, got it in mail activated it and put it to charge the screen is black and when contacted Verizon, they said it bleeds never dropped it nor did any damage to it.

I did not take any insurance or any additional coverage. Been with Verizon for almost 4 plus years but i think i will have to say Good Bye in case they don't resolve it.

The problem with this is physical damage was done to the device.

Could of been in packing, in shipping or at your house.

Verizon is not going to take your word for when it occurred.

In cases like this without insurance to cover it, you can send it to the manufacturer yourself and have them look at it and if not damage by you they will replace it or repair it.

Verizon is not the blame so why take it out on them?

The warranty is for defects in materials and workmanship.

Send it back to the device maker, tell them it was dead on arrival and they should assist you.
