Bluetooth - wireless issues with Samsung S4 due to Android 4.4.2 ?

I'm not 100% sure that this problem is a result of the most recent update but within the last week, maybe week and a half my Samsung S4 4.4.2 is not maintaining Bluetooth Connectivity in my car (2013 Volkswagen GTI). I have never lost Bluetooth connectivity before with this phone whether it was in my Beetle or my GTI until recently (the Beetle was sold a couple of months ago). I run almost daily and I have not experienced this problem with my wireless Bluetooth headset. I suspect something is wrong with the last update.

Well I see there hasn't been much response to my posting... still having problems.

When I select the Bluetooth Connection in my car as my Car... then I have Samsungs Hands Free function turning on and off constantly during my 73 mile trip between Orlando and Ocala.

When I clear the Bluetooth as Car, then I just keep getting connection and disconnection indicated by my car... so in the middle of a phone conversation... I have to pick up the phone to hear and talk... then the car is on.. then the ohone over and over again.
