Network extender has stopped working, it worked for the previous year. Now it has a solid magenta light. I would like to get this fixed but according to the things i have read i can't just magic with brilliance. I would appreciate a response from Verizon. I can't call because....doh no extender and no signal at the house without it.

Travel to an area with VZW service and then give VZW a call.  Chances are something is defective and will need to be replaced under the warranty of your device.
