disable screen password

I suspect my teenager has inappropriate context on the phone i pay for i finally have possession of the phone and there is a screen password on it she refuses to give to me. how can i get by it w/o wiping the data? (she is 16)

if she wont give it to you i would say there is inapproptiate conext on there, she is 16, its to be expexted. If you want to see what it is let her know she wont be in trouble for what you find but you need to know. Parents Advice. Eventually she will give in. 16 year olds can not go forever without a phone
