My messages shows one unread text and I have deleted all of my messages. Using Verizon messages
This is somewhat of a problem when using the Verizon plus app and the S5. Force stop and shut down the Verizon
Message app, and install the standard phone message app. it always works better then the plus app.
don't "force stop', just stop & follow prompts in app manager..
