The point of a Nexus phone was to get these updates quickly! 4.2.2 has its issues and we are forced to change phones. Pitiful - time to change carriers! Why do these companies always need to kill technology?

Google gave up on it. Texas Instruments never updated the drivers for the processor and have gotten out of the mobile processor business.
Texas Instruments decided to withdraw from the mobile processor market and therefore the drivers were never updated and support stopped.
