on the stock messaging app, can i put a signature in? so all of my texts have my name at the bottom? if so, how/where do i do this? can't seem to find it?

Not sure about the stock... I got tired of the stock and switched to Handcent. It has a signature function.

thx...maybe i'll try. i'm just iffy about text apps. AS SOON as i assigned a notification sound for texts from an app i lost ALL texts. handcent does look pretty cool though.
