location on.....what are ur thoughts??

I have been using my phone for not even a week yet and was wondering about the "location on" actually being on at all times.Should I turn it on only when using a GPS related app? Will this save some battery? Also is it safe to leave on all the time? Thanks in advance!

You can leave it on, sure, but it will drain your battery very quickly. I would turn it off when you really don't use it.

the location on is also used for the Weather Widget from what i can find out.

i leave it on. it does drain battery, but i can get through a day so i just charge daily. i got this phone for all the cool features so i'm gonna use them!!! lol

Location On helps with more than you realize. As far as battery drain.... sure a little drain is expected.

The government has better ways to track you... Oops I've said too much, they monitor this site!
