Trying to change the default photo gallery from the stock gallery. Please help.
Go to the settings app, select applications, press the three dot menu button, then select reset app preferences. You'll have to re-select each one of your defaults as you need them, but it might work.
If you install a new gallery from the Play Store, the first time you need to use the gallery (other than directly selecting it from the app drawer) you will be asked if you want to use whichever one you choose once or always. Alternatively, you can go into the phone settings, select applications then find the gallery app and clear defaults there.
I've done both of those and it still defaults to the stock app when trying to share photos.
