Oh, I see them already. Apparently it's a 2 part update and folks are already fretting over the 2nd update not coming in. All Verizon S5 owners hit GO at the same time.
Before someone gets on to me about LG not being first and that the Moto X 14 got it out of the box first...LG was supposed to be on point to release before the rest, Moto excluded i guess. Definitely wasn't supposed to be Samsung First. I never got why the new got the new first. Old should get new first, unless of course, you have an S5 riddled with issues, then maybe an update would help and it should be the first in line.
I just got the 2nd part of the 2 part, the 2nd part is the 5.0...installed and...YES, it's broke. Lol
That's outstanding. I know many were hoping this would fix a lot of issues. :smileysad:
Don't count on it! 5.0 is still being debugged. The game is about to start I fear.

After updating my s5, the 4g stopped working. I am having issues getting a 4g signal. I have already powered off and powered on. I have also taken the battery out and put it back in to update. None of this has worked. The battery life also suffered greatly. Before the update, my battery life was AMAZING. . . now, HUGE and FAST drain.
Try removing and then reseating the SIM card to re-establish the network connection.
Battery Drain is definitely horrible. The rest of the updates is great. No
other issues for me. Just the drain....very bad and just when it was
lasting a whole day and most of the night. Ugh.

Factory reset the phone and clear the cache
I am having problems with the WiFi staying connected. It connects and disconnects contently which is causing my battery to drain at a rapid speed. Anyone know how to fix this yet?
For the battery drain, check for running apps. The CityName app gets turned back on and you should disable it. It is a battery drainer also causes issues with 4G/wifi connectivity.
Anyone from NJ getting the update? I tried OTA and it says my phone is up-to-date (4.4.4).
I'm usually an early adopter and I don't complain about my phone is broke, because I already know what to turn off, uninstall and disable.
I've gone through all of my apps in the application manager and do not see the CityName app anywhere. Do you have any other suggestions?

Think I figured out the WiFi problem. You have to go in to advanced settings in WiFi and turn off smart network search. Seems to be working for me.
