Can I have a tone sound when I send a text? I have a GalaxyS5, using Verizon Messaging

Glad you're using Verizon Messaging, and I hope you're enjoying it. Verizon Messages will use the default notification sound chosen, unless a conversation, within Verizon Messages, is set to a different tone. Please follow these steps:
•Reset application settings from Verizon Messages > Menu > Settings > Menu > Restore default settings.
•Uninstall application updates via Play Store then update once more.
•Attempt to change the default notification tone via Settings and see if Verizon Messages changes behavior after choosing another tone.
