Why can't I get phone service even though I am getting e-mails?

my droid maxx says "no service", getting wireless email, but no phone calls or text...help

Let's get your phone acting right! Where are you located (zip)? What happens when you attempt to place a call or send a text? Are you connected to Wifi?

Remove the sim card for a minute, insert and retest http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-83438/. Keep us posted if the issue persist.
