I was on a call and needed to get on the internet. I received a message stating that while on a call mobile data isnt available unless I was on wi-fi. Am I missing something.
Yes, AC is required for simultaneous talk and surf, as well as for video calling and HD quality voice calls. The latter 2 require both parties to have LTE coverage and a phone capable of AC and must both be Verizon customers.
I went into the verizon store. They told me I needed to activate "Advanced Calling" to be able to use other mobile data apps (internet, text, email and social media) while on a voice call.
