Just this afternoon, the fingerprint scanner stopped working. Have wiped the home button, cleaned and moistened fingers, etc., to no avail. Finally did a hard reset in the hope this would clear the problem. No luck.
Anyone have any info or ideas on how to get it re-established, or is this a hardware failure and I need a new phone?
