How to change from monthly payments to pay-as-you-go?

have a $45 dollar monthly charge,do not want,just want to add minutes how do i do that

If you are not on contract, sounds like you are prepaid, you can go here Pay As You Go | Verizon Wireless but I do believe that is for basic phones only.
