So, I am on my 3rd droid and it froze and rebooted in less then an hour. The first droid had an iffy battery and eventually the sleep button stopped working. It would shut off the phone but would not put it too sleep. The second phone started randomly rebooting. So, I brought it back to the Verizon store. The Verizon rep did a master reset and as I was setting up the gmail settings the phone froze and the Verizon rep did not see it. We got it set up and (it also reinstalled all my apps I had downloaded including ones I had uninstalled which struck me as odd) played with it for a while. I decided to sit in my car just to make sure it would work ... within 45 mins the sleep button stoped working. I went back into the store they gave me a 3rd new phone but used the 2nd SD card to transfer my contacts, telling me to delete any apps I had downloaded to the phone through my gmail account. I guess they think even my apps are linked to my gmail ... this makes no sense to me. And then the third phone freezes and reboots. The manager is claiming it is somehow a bad app I installed ... never really got that far with the third phone.
So, the first and second phones have my phone number, gmail and charger in common. The second and third phone have my phone number, sd card and charger in common but I never syncd the third phone with my gmail. All three phones have my phone number and charger in common ...
I assume the store maybe recieved a bad bach or droids but, the first one was ordered online and they claim I am the only one they have seen with this issue. Any suggestions? Anyone else experiencing similar problems? I like the phone when it works and I really don't want to give up on it but I beginning to think the universe does not want me to have one.
