Lock Screen Won't "Wake Up" After Lollipop

Before the Lollipop update, my lock screen used to "wake up" when I had an incoming text message. Now, nothing happens. How do I fix this? I can't seem to find anything in any Settings categories. I haven't paid too much attention to the notification light, but that may not be working as well.

This is definitely an issue we want to help resolve beautifuletdown07. I know its important to be notified when you receive a message. Do you receive a tone or vibration when you get a new text message? Try going to your text message settings and making sure your notifications are enabled. Keep us posted.

From the settings within Messages, notifications are turned on. Also, my LED light is not flashing with new notifications. I have also checked within settings that it is still turned on.

Also, my phone is set to make a sound, but not vibrate when I get a text. However, most of the day my phone is on silent, which is why I prefer my lock screen to wake up.
