Droid X upgrade

I would very much love to upgrade to a DROID X, but I have a problem.

I just recently bought the original DROID(Early June perhaps? will check.) with a 2 year contract, and have already gotten my mail-in rebate for it. Is it at all possible for me to upgrade the the DROID X without paying full retail?

Early June would mean you are past the 30 day return guarantee. Only way now is pay fullprice from somewhere
