I have an LG Octane, and am trying to prepare for a switch to a Samsung Galaxy 4 mini. The transfer contacts page will not let me pick my current device as an Octane. Can I even transfer my contacts from this phone to the Samsung?

I have an LG Octane, and am trying to prepare for a switch to a Samsung Galaxy 4 mini by transferring contacts using the www.verizonwireless/transfercontacts page. It wants me to select my current phone, but the Octane is not among the available choices. Am I going to be able to transfer contacts at all?

If both phones have bluetooth you could do it that way.  That is what I did when I went from a basic phone to a smart phone and all my contacts transferred over fine.  Mary
