After the Lollipop upgrade I can stream audio in my car but can't make phone calls using bluetooth

After my phone updated to Lollipop I could not make phone calls in my car (2014 Nissan) using bluetooth. I am able to stream audio just fine but when I try to make a phone call it is just silence. I have tried unpairing and repairing my device several times. I did a factory reboot on my phone and tried booting it in safe mode with all apps turned off. I still can't get the phone calls to work. Before Lollipop I had to reboot my phone after I turned on the car in order to make a call, now nothing seems to work. Does anyone else have this issue.

Safety is super important and we want you to be able to use all your functions on your S5 again. We appreciate all the troubleshooting you have completed in efforts to get this corrected. Have you been able to connect any bluetooth devices to your phone?

Yes, I have connected to one other device for audio and the car works for audio as well, both bluetooth. When I first try to use the phone to make a call it will not pause the audio but act as though no call is in progress. If I restart the phone the audio will pause like it should when making and receiving calls but no sound comes through the speakers. If I put my phone on speaker phone I can hear the call in progress so I know it is working.

Thank you for keeping us updated darianverza. We want to make sure your phone is working the way it's intended to. Have you tried connecting other devices to your cars Bluetooth and attempt to make a call? Have you tried connecting your phone to other car Bluetooth and attempted to make a call? I would advised reaching out to your car's manufacturer just to make sure the phone and the new software is computable.
