my tablet downloaded Android 5 about 3 months ago and is now running Android 5.0 2 .
I am dreading Verizon forcing me to put 5 on my phone and I want to do anything I possibly can to avoid that.
does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid it?
also I would like to begin a list of everything that's wrong with Android 5.
my first and most obvious immediate complaint was that it eliminates all of your photographs and videos on your phone and upload them to Google+ automatically so that you will be dependent on Google in the future and not move to another and much better operating system.
you can still find your photos and videos on Google+ but they are not organized. it's a disaster compared to having the gallery.
an even bigger problem is that it allows apps to turn on data. without your permission and it allows apps to switch from wifi to mobile data without your permission.
This makes Verizon more money. in other countries you are allowed to choose your operating system and the mobile phone company cannot force you to upload their new operating system that makes them more money and screws up your phone. this is just the result of corruption in the American political system.
There must be a way to prevent this upload. I talked to Verizon and they said I could just keep saying no to the upload but it will start happening every 20 minutes and eventually verizon will just force its without asking.
