After latest update mobile data use off the charts. What can i do to fix this besides turning off mobile data and walking around with a useless hunk of plastic?

Data being eaten up by OS Services 6 gigs this month and had to turn mobile data off 3 weeks ago !

Did you download the update while not connected to wi-fi?
