I don't know if is just verizon or my blackberry curve but I cannot get online, chck emailings or log in to my gmail messenger and also the bbm isnt work an Im the only one with this problem
I'm having the same issues. No data services seem to be available. I have a Blackberry Curve as well.
Both my husband's & mine are not receiving email, accessing the web or BBM. Been like this since this afternoon.
mine was working til like 5pm (eastern time) and now is not working at all ughh
I tried to use my service when leaving work around 4:30 and have not had service since then. Phone service works but not internet. I have turned the phone off multiple times, taken the battery out thinking it was my phone!
Mine has been out all day...besides the fact that it continues to have other issues...power cycling on and off...err. messages..lost all of my pictures and holiday pics....I cant stand Verizons phones anymore and wish they would do something about it...and whats up with the new$350 early termination fee...Just cause yall are losing money on phones doesnt mean you can keep taking it out on the customer...I dont pay over $200 a month for my phones for the family to have horrible service..

So now 2 out of the last 5 days, Blackberry devices send and receive no e-mail, plus inability to access web, messaging, etc. That's 40% downtime!
Verizon customer service apparently feels its paying customers should not receive any bill credit for the $30+/month service not working at all for days at a time, because "it's Blackberry's fault." While that's apparently true, we buy a service from Verizon and it's not being provided.
Verizon should be giving pro-rated credit on data plans to all affected users. Verizon should then go get reimbursement from RIM, with which it has its own contract.
If enough customers call Verizon customer service and demand this, they will get the message.
Same issue here at 10:25 PM est...trouble most of the day...My brother also had trouble with his wife's Droid. The unit was not receiving email
I have had trouble all day. I bet this will be reported on the national news tomorrow! Is this another Cyber Attack?
Mostly annoying. It seems to have happened when they put Bing on my phone. I really hate that it's a service book too. I'm afraid to delete it! Of course, maybe if I did that the **bleep** thing would work.
I am in the same spot. Cant check anything. It is really annoying. I am paying extra money each month to have the internet etc. on my phone. I am not paying the extra money to have it down so I cant use it... has this ever happened before and if so how long was it down.

It's been down once or twice in my memory. I use my BB constantly for work (and I mean constantly, I work with medical equipment and am never at my desk) and it's actually been a hinderance maybe once in the past six months. However it's NEVER lasted this long.

It's not only US, it is Worldwide because is not working for my friends from other countries. And I concluded its apple sabotaging RIM servers so I'm sold and I'm ready to switch

Yeah, good luck with that. It is not a VZW issue. It is a blackberry issue so call blackberry and tell them to send you a check.
Thank GOODNESS I'm not the only one. I have been on the verge of pulling my hair out!!! I've been trying everything. I agree - Verizon should A) fix it fast and give us all a credit on our next bill. HA! Wishful thinking, I know.
According to "customer service" (choke choke), it's a RIM problem, thus not their fault, so no billing credits.

My data has been down since bout 2:30pm. the funny thing is i can easily access My Verizon and the verizon ringtone app jus fine which requrie data but they rest of the data stuff on my fone is down. This has gotten worse the last time it was jus e-mail 4 me now its just about everything
jus found out that RIM will be takin 6-8 hrs 2 fix the problem and we should hear something around 6am

I got this information off of the Blackberry website message boards. This is a RIM issue, not Verizon. Hopefully it will be back on by morning.

At 3:40 am central time blackberry services came back online
