This just may be true, I have seen other sources say the same thing. At this point so late in the day I would look for it on Monday.
I personally will be holding off to see if there is any problems with the update.
YES, the note 4 is getting 5.0 lollipop with advance calling 1.0 just dont know build it is 5.0 or 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 but we are finally getting the update...
Found out it is lollipop 5.0.1 from samsung servers.
has any one got the update yet?
Haven't seen anything yet. I'm thinking that all information that was put out, may have jumped the gun a little. Thinking it should have been put out this morning.
Keep checking throughout this morning, if nothing comes today, I'm thinking possibly Monday.
Its official (according to Verizon). The Galaxy Note 4 is getting Lollipop (not quite sure which version) as of yesterday. Check the link below for more info.

Downloading update 1 of 2 now...see several people on other forums starting to get it as well. I was going to hold off, but curiosity got the best of me.
I have noticed a lot of 2 part updates going on lately. Used to be one big update. I wonder what part 1 does as far as "preparing our phones" for the 2nd part.
I think in part it is finding and getting rid of known incompatible apps from your phone, the first thing it does after install is "Optimize" each app. I'm getting my part 1 update now.
Optimize has always been a part of the OS update for me, but I can see where the removal of apps or permissions of those apps comes into play with the disabling of apps ability to control certain functions.
I just got the update for lollipop. But kinda iffy whether or not I should do it. In Virginia
I finished my update went very smoothly and no issues thus far.
How has your battery life been after the update? Or is to early to tell?
cgage0823 so far it is looking really good, I charged up after all the updating and post update updating of apps but after that the battery usage graph is looking pretty flat and the device battery temperature is the normal temperature for my device. I'll report back again after I get some more use and it gets a chance to adjust to the new OS.
Now that a few days have passed the battery usage is at least as good as it was prior to the update, I'm still showing close to 22 hours of time left after a few hours of use. The first couple of days it wasn't as good, it would get hot at times etc. but definitely has settled down now.
