gmail acount info is incorrect, why all of the sudden can't I get gmail synced?

Anyone have a solution for this?  I've removed gmail account, done soft reset, reinstalled.  No luck.

Worked fine until yesterday.

I had an issue similar to that.  I had Google 2-step verification which wasn't letting me re-add it to my device.  I removed the 2-step long enough to get back in and then re-enabled it.
